Can anyone give me any tips on how to go about changing the drive belt on a John Deere Model LX277 (AWS All Wheel Steering) Lawn Tractor? At a glance it looks like you need to remove the body.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
unless someone on Yahoo has that exact model, you will be far better off calling up a Deere dealer and ask to talk to a mechanic there… He can give you all the tricks and tips, and tell you the best/fastest way to change your belt… If he says bring it in, just tell him you are a handy guy, and you are 100 miles away…. he will help you.
